As the name implies, these can be used to stow CDs and DVDs. Not just racks, but a variety of CD storage options are available, including wall mountable shelves, spinner racks, or even glass cabinets for easy viewing. A must in a home with music and movie buffs!
An oldie, but definitely a goodie. Somehow, storing records in crates is one of the most easiest and affordable ideas. Check on sites like eBay and Amazon for inexpensive wooden or plastic crates that have handles on the sides and can accommodate standard LP albums. You can purchase them in bulk and stack them on top of one another or on their sides so they don't take up a lot of space.
Lastly, as mentioned above, remember the golden rule. You should research a lot in the market to get things/furniture that you actually need and that will serve dual purpose. This will definitely help save a lot of space and help in storing a great deal of stuff. Good luck!
