Step 4: Calculate the measurements of the pegboard and accordingly cut the board material with a saw. After cutting, mount the same to the prepared framework using wood screws and a cordless drill with a screw driver.
Step 2: Next, mark the locations of the wall studs. This is done in order to mount the board support strips on the wall. Once that is done, draw a horizontal line on the wall for further guidance.
Frankly speaking, putting the records up on display is perhaps the only way we love to 'store' them. Of course, it'll be difficult to keep them all on a wall-mounted showcase. In such cases, keep only a handful of records on the showcase and store the others in labeled boxes.
Wood: Those made from hardboard (a material made up of highly compressed wooden fibers) are popular, and a relatively cheaper option. However, they retain moisture and are not a good choice for heavy equipment. Wood-based composites like particle boards or medium-density fiber boards are also commonly used. Composite fiber boards are a better option and long-lasting, but too much of weight can damage them.
