An oldie, but definitely a goodie. Somehow, storing records in crates is one of the most easiest and affordable ideas. Check on sites like eBay and Amazon for inexpensive wooden or plastic crates that have handles on the sides and can accommodate standard LP albums. You can purchase them in bulk and stack them on top of one another or on their sides so they don't take up a lot of space.
Metal: These are made from brass, stainless steel, galvanized steel, or aluminum. They are more durable and stronger in comparison to their wooden or plastic counterparts.
Redundancy happens if you do not use the chest for any purpose. Well, you might not want to use it for storing your blankets, but there are several other things that you can use it for. One suggestion is to keep it in the children's bedroom, where it can be used for their books. When you are using it for some purpose, you will stay happy about it.
