Having a convenient arrangement always makes the job of storing wood easier for you, as the firewood needs to be kept dry and moisture free. Unless you live in a place where it snows or rains day and night, you can build a firewood storage outdoors, as the wood can dry off easily when subjected to direct sunlight for a few hours of the day.
Step 5: Once the pegboard is mounted properly, put the hooks in the holes and then hang your tools or other accessories. In case you forget which tool goes where, you can draw an outline around your hanging tools or can number them according to their hanging places.
Step 2: Next, mark the locations of the wall studs. This is done in order to mount the board support strips on the wall. Once that is done, draw a horizontal line on the wall for further guidance.
Wood: Those made from hardboard (a material made up of highly compressed wooden fibers) are popular, and a relatively cheaper option. However, they retain moisture and are not a good choice for heavy equipment. Wood-based composites like particle boards or medium-density fiber boards are also commonly used. Composite fiber boards are a better option and long-lasting, but too much of weight can damage them.
